Don Hoelscher
Don is an EMT-Firefighter in Bushton.
He received his training through Barton County Community College.
Don has been an First Responder/EMT for 14 years.
Don lives in Bushton with his wife, Joy - who is also an EMT in Bushton. Don and Joy have three children, Micah, Andrew and Laura.
Don's interest in EMS began in 1992 when Claflin EMS asked the Fire Department members for some help. They encouraged the firefighters to become First Responders to further help the citizens. The class was taught by David Lake, in Bushton. Don was one of 9 members of the department to take the class. In the Fall of 2003, Don decided to take the Bridge Course through Rice County EMS under Barton County Community College.
